When faced with the challenge of manufacturing with minaturised components, off-the-shelf solutions may not always be available that meet requirements. That’s when Boost Design stepped in to develop a custom solution.
This production machine was developed to allow for rapid placement of a wide range of component types at very high accuracies in a compact machine form factor. Featuring motion speeds of over 1m/s and <0.1mm positional accuracy, and multiple placement heads, the system was designed to push the envelope of what is possible for a compact, accurate, flexible and high speed production placement machine.
