Our client had been developing technology based on a phased ultrasound transducer arrays for a medical treatment application, and required a proof-of-concept device in order to continue with their research.

• Research and development of the technology, with a view to developing a working and efficacious transducer head
• Evaluated numerous ultrasonic transducers, to determine options that may be fit for purpose for the project
• Developed some basic test jigs to verify performance anda test methodology for determining whether the technology was working
• Developed prototype electronics for technology evaluation
• Developed the firmware for testing
• Developed a mechanical enclosure suitable for use in trials
• Supplied a working proof-of-concept device to the Client, to allow them to conduct further research and studies on their technology
